Attention Parents of 8th Grade Students

Your child may be eligible for the REACH Scholarship. Pickens County will be selecting its next cohort of (5) REACH Scholars in September.

REACH is a needs based scholarship program where current 8th grade students can receive $10,000 upon high school graduation, if they meet specific requirements during their 8th grade through high school career, and enroll in a post-secondary education program. The criteria are to maintain at least a 2.5 GPA, have good attendance, and no major behavior incidents. The student will also be required to meet with a mentor and academic coach.

If you think your child may be eligible, please have him/her complete the Initial Eligibility and Middle School Application Procedure for the REACH Program and submit it to their school counselor by August 31st. For more information, please GA Futures REACH Scholarship Program.
