The goal of Pickens Junior High School Counseling Department is to provide a comprehensive developmental school counseling program focused on academic, personal, social, and career development and success for all students, and to create and nurture lifelong learners who are college, career, and community ready.

We are hopeful that you will find information that will assist you in making the most of your junior high years as you begin to prepare for high school and beyond. Our goal is to provide each student with guidance and support on both an individual and group basis that helps each student reach his/her full academic and personal potential.
