Coach Raymond would like to thank Roland tires for sending Matt and Adam out to work with our 7th and 8th grade leadership classes. They learned how to change a tire, asked many questions about the business and found out some of the skills and requirements for a career in this field. Everyone buys tires! Thank you Roland tires for giving to our community!

8th grade ELA classes are using the PALS (Peer-Assisted Learning) Reading Strategy to give students the tools they need to succeed. By partnering up to predict, read, retell, and ask questions, students are actively practicing the very skills that raise achievement — comprehension, fluency, and critical thinking. The result? Stronger skills, more confidence, and students who are truly engaged in their learning! 🐉💚

Students in Mrs. Kilchriste’s 9th Grade Lit. and Comp. classes have been hard at work writing their argumentative essays. Yesterday, they participated in a fun “Musical Chairs Peer Review” activity, where they rotated to review each other’s writing. During the activity, students shared positive feedback about one another’s essays while also giving helpful suggestions on areas like capitalization, word choice, punctuation, and overall clarity. It was an engaging way to strengthen their writing skills and learn from their peers!

Morning Tutoring is now available Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 7:35 am

Thursday during ELT (Extra Learning Time) Mr. Shostak's students spent time learning about exchange rates by looking up the value of currency from 17 different countries. This aligns with their study on Economics and the importance of currency exchange around the world.
