Check out these scenes from the Winter Pep Rally! Lots of fun was had and school spirit was shown by all! In addition to our spectacular teams being recognized, games were played by students and staff, the "Spirit Stick" was won by our fantastic 7th graders, and teacher Torie Sutton won the Pep Rally Fundraiser and kissing a pig was the prize!









We are excited to announce the start of our Dragons LOVE Reading initiative! Starting tomorrow, February 1st, and for the entire month of February, we want to see our Dragons reading! Each day we will post a fun reading activity that our students can participate in.
We encourage our families to get involved too! Read, write, and participate along with your student this month.
We have fun activities that we hope will inspire reading for all of our Dragons!!
K-8 students and families should save the date for Literacy Night on February 27th from 6-7:30pm.

Due to expected weather conditions, Pickens County Schools and the District Office will be closed on Friday, January 10th. All extra-curricular activities are also canceled both Friday, January 10th and Saturday, January 11th.


Pickens County School District will be on Winter Break beginning December 23rd. Schools and the Central Office will be closed from December 23-January 2. Students will return to class on January 6th. We wish everyone a safe and happy holiday season.
