Our 8th grade drama class students recently completed their study of Medieval theatre, during which time they learned about the caste system, Mumming, the influence of religion on theatre at this time, and the "Coat of Arms". To close out our unit, each student created a personal Coat of Arms with symbols that describe them.
Here are some of the Coats of Arms our students created as part of their unit.

Please join us as we explore Career Pathways all week long! From November 3-7, students will dive into hands-on activities, guest speakers, and discussions designed to help them discover their interests, strengths, and future career goals.
Each day will dive deeper into the pathway and give students real-world connections to the career of their choice. We encourage parents to talk with their child about what they're learning and how it connects to their dreams for the future! This week is to help prepare our students before going to Pickens County High School for Career Day on November 14th!
Let's work together to inspire the next generation of professionals, entrepreneurs, and leaders!

It was Club Day at PJHS on Wednesday! As part of the Military Prep Club, students got a glimpse into what boot camp is like by watching different aspects of Army basic training. Afterward, they took time to write heartfelt letters to Mrs. Kuyper’s son, Isaac, who is currently going through basic training. We’re proud of their curiosity, dedication, and support for one of our own! 🇺🇸✉️
